Hi! I want to write a quick note to introduce myself and to let you know ... I get it. Parenting is EXHAUSTING, and AMAZING, and full of surprises. Parenting a kid with differences, as you know, is like a trip to Holland when you meant to go to Italy. Parenting multiples is like driving everywhere with a lead foot, often longing for the brakes (and breaks) and other times exhilarated by the speed.
I'm no stranger to these roads. I'm the proud mother of fraternal twins (both with learning differences) and their little brother and have worked with children my whole life as a teacher, mentor, and caregiver.
A few fun facts...I'm an avid volunteer for Healing with Horses Ranch therapeutic riding center, I love punk rock, and gluten free cookies make me happy!
